About Erika

Originally from southeast Idaho, Erika is a Dallas-based artist whose work is deeply influenced by her love of wildlife, the outdoors, and the quiet magic of night scenes. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Art History with a minor in Painting from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Before fully committing to her visual art practice, she spent her twenties working professionally in theatre—a background that continues to shape the narrative and atmospheric qualities of her paintings. Her work often explores mood, light, and the liminal spaces where beauty and unease meet.

Now living in Dallas, she enjoys being part of the city’s thriving art community. When she’s not painting, she can be found spending time with her two dogs and cat.
